A banda (oriunda de Willowdale, Toronto, no Canadá) teve um breve hiato num dado momento de sua carreira, devido às suas letras intelectualizadas e reflexivas, levantando questões sociais. Influenciou bandas que vieram posteriormente como: Dream Theater que, por sua vez, possui um estilo mais puxado para o Heavy Metal Progressivo.
