Caríssimos leitores, após uma breve pausa, segue este Post, especialíssimo, de Edgar Allan Poe - Hymn. A meu ver, este poema datado de 1835 é magistral. Aos leitores que dominam Língua Inglesa, como eu, pois também sou tradutor, percebem nitidamente que, nenhuma tradução supera o texto original e, se supera, é digno de muito prestígio, pois no mínimo é uma rara proeza... Maria! thou hast heard my hymn!
In joy and wo -- in good and ill --
Mother of God, be with me still!
When the Hours flew brightly by

Now, when storms of Fate o´ercast
